We’re proud to announce that the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver name and brand is officially changing to Greater Vancouver REALTORS® (GVR) starting on February 12!

This name change is part of a broader re-branding initiative that includes a new logo.

This design incorporates vibrant colours along with a logo mark that represents the connection that real estate makes in our communities between people and properties.

“Through this new brand, we want to make it easier for different real estate stakeholders in the community to identify who we are, what we stand for, and who we represent,” said Jeff King, GVR CEO. “With time and effort, we will strive to make the GVR name, and the members we represent, synonymous with quality, innovation, transparency and professionalism in real estate.”

About us

Our association has served the region’s real estate professionals, and the home buying and selling public they represent, since 1919. Today, GVR serves over 15,000 Realtor members and their companies across Greater Vancouver. We provide a variety of products and services, including the MLS®, research and statistics, education and training, professional standards and arbitration, public and media relations, tech support, government advocacy and more.

We have also been a trusted source of housing market statistics and other housing-related information to the public, media, and government for decades. Over this time, we have also been a tenacious advocate for affordable and sustainable housing solutions as well as an effective, transparent, and safe housing market.

Why are we rebranding?

Based on extensive research, we believe that this new brand will make it easier for home buyers, sellers, owners, and beyond to understand who we are, what we stand for, and who we represent.

The GVR brand will allow us to better reflect our identity, goals, and our Realtor members we serve and represent.

Our strategic pivot toward a new brand also signifies our commitment to affecting positive change in our communities. We’re developing new ways to advocate for housing affordability solutions, support community or charity causes, and share the latest housing market information on behalf of the Realtor community.
