The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) is pleased to announce Shari Wallace as our next Chief Information Officer (CIO). She’ll begin her tenure at REBGV in early June. 

Shari is a senior information technology (IT) executive with over 30 years of experience in the private and public sectors in Canada and Europe. She has expertise in all aspects of IT, including strategic planning, program delivery, investment and portfolio management, business transformation, compliance, cybersecurity and risk management.

She most recently served as the CIO at Triumf Canada’s particle accelerator centre, where her leadership helped modernize and streamline that organization’s IT infrastructure. Before joining Triumf, she served as CIO at the City of Burnaby and in senior IT roles at Telus and the City of Vancouver.

“We’re excited to have Shari join our team. She brings extensive IT experience, expertise, and an innovator’s mind to her work,” Jeff King, REBGV CEO said. “We know that her skills and leadership will help our organization and members excel in today’s dynamic business environment.”

Shari replaces Mike Pedersen who retired at the end of 2021 after serving REBGV and the real estate profession in Canada with great distinction for more than three decades.
