The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s members have a long history of giving.
Through the years, REALTORS Care® programs have raised funds for numerous charities, including more than $400,000 for BC Children’s Hospital, $250,000 for Canuck Place, and about $1.5 million for the MS Society.
More than $5 million has been donated to or raised for charity by Metro Vancouver REALTORS® from 2007 to 2009.
At the same time, our members support charities and causes in the communities where they live and work. Preparing and serving Thanksgiving dinners, and donating to local foundations and schools are some of the activities in which members enthusiastically participate.
REALTORS® have initiated successful programs such as the REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive, REALTORS Care® Shelter Drive, REALTORS Care® Blood Drive, and Realty Watch, some of which have been adopted by other real estate boards throughout the province and across Canada.
