Each year, the Professional Excellence Award recognizes one of our members for distinction and excellence in the real estate profession.
To receive such an award is an extraordinary achievement and honour. For a REALTOR®, it represents the peak of professionalism, knowledge, civic-mindedness, and life-long learning.
It is an award to be treasured for a lifetime.

The Board awarded REALTOR® Sandra Wyant the Professional Excellence Award at the Medallion Club gala on March 15.
Wyant is with RE/MAX LifeStyles Realty in Maple Ridge.
The award is the Board’s highest honour bestowed to a member. Wyant was nominated by her peers and chosen by a distinguished panel of judges. The winner must meet strict requirements of professionalism, ethics, and community involvement.
“Sandra is the epitome of what the Professional Excellence Award represents,” said Darcy McLeod, Board president, 2015-16. “Her dedication to our profession and to her community has made her a recognized leader for many years.”
She has spent several years helping to lead and shape the real estate profession. She was one of the first instructors in the profession’s Ethical Leadership Program.
Sandra has volunteered as a director of the BC Real Estate Association and the REBGV. She served as REBGV president for the 2013-2014 term.
Beyond real estate, Wyant is also known as a community builder. She has volunteered countless hours as a member of the Community Advisory Council at the Salvation Army Ridge Meadows Ministries.
She was also instrumental in forming the Costa Rica Kids School Sponsorship Program that supports underprivileged children in Costa Rica. Sandra has made several trips to Costa Rica to lend a helping hand.
