Approximately 125 Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows REALTORS® and their families, friends and neighbours prepared an incredible 525 full Thanksgiving dinners for the underprivileged at their 14th annual Real Thanksgiving Meal at St. Patrick’s Church Hall in Maple Ridge on Monday, October 11.
Six local real estate offices donated $500 each for the food and supplies, which included: twenty 20-pound turkeys, 80 loaves of bread, 350 dinner rolls, 3 cases of apples, 200 pounds of potatoes, 150 pounds of carrots, 50 pounds of turnips, 50 pounds of onions, 75 pumpkins and 46 pumpkin pies.
