REALTORS® and staff at the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver partner to build the future. Boards of Directors are volunteer leaders who are involved in visioning and oversight, but not directly in operations which affect the design, development and delivery of programs.

Directors are expected to:

  • meet the highest ethical and fiduciary standards
  • demonstrate independence from management
  • be knowledgeable and inquisitive about issues facing the REBGV
  • apply good sense and sound judgment to help make wise decisions, and
  • display commitment through attendance at, preparation for, and participation in meetings

 

Directors fulfill these objectives through accountability, integrity, independence, involvement, contribution and commitment to the REBGV and its membership.

  • set the tone for a culture of integrity and leadership throughout the REBGV

  • renew itself with high calibre candidates with diverse skills and experience
